- Implement, sustain and improve Kanban system for specific areas in the Business unit and contribute on the inventory accuracy.
- Minimize Material stock-outs, applying Problem solving process (PSP)
- Contribute to achieve
- Place purchase orders for materials and confirm delivery with suppliers, expedite material as needed
- Lead Lean Materials process improvement initiatives
- Drive inventory reduction and cost savings through RBS tools and supplier negotiations
- Coordinate schedules with outside suppliers and internal operations
- Work closely with Internal Customers to prioritize production schedule and backlog
- Monitor Kanban & Spike orders and resize (re-calculate bins) to current demand patterns
- Active participation in inventory reduction, and cost savings projects
- Resolve Invoice matching issues with Accounts Payable.
- Support Customer Service, Product Managers, Quality and Engineering as required
- Acitve participation in Daily order Review meetings with Operations
- Active participation in Daily management meeting with operations
- Reports to Manterials Manager I
- Extensive relationships with internal employees (cross-functionally),i.e Quality, Engineering, Operations, RBS, & Finance functional groups on a variety of Operational Issues.
- Interacts with Thomson, Fortive Motion and Fortive Corporate professionals to share best practices and collaborate on various initiatives.
- Other divisions and platforms within Thomson as needed
- Interacts with Suppliers to address Quality, Delivery and Cost issues/initiatives.

- Deployment of the Regal Rexnord Business System tools.
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
- Experience – 3-5 years of experience in production/material planning/scheduling/purchasing
- Foreign Language – Spanish/English fluency required.
- Experience in JIT/Kanban environment and cellular manufacturing
- Experience in Maquiladoras Metal Mechanical desirable
- Multi task person and highly organized
- Medium-High knowledge Level in Excel Software.
- Ability to analyze data, form strategic plans and execute at the tactical level
- Have experience with SAP / Oracle system (Desirable).
- Must be willing and able to travel international and domestic by all forms of transportation
