- Generate and deliver invoices promptly, ensuring clear, professional communication and compliance with company standards.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently by analysing billing errors, liaising with internal departments, and maintaining precise documentation of resolutions.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding billing inquiries, providing expert support and timely responses to maintain positive client relationships.
- Assist with month-end closing processes to support accurate financial reporting, including reconciliation and preparation of billing records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, sales, and transportation to ensure seamless billing operations and resolve operational challenges proactively.
- Conduct daily billing and auditing activities of assigned claims to maintain compliance and financial accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies and state and federal regulatory requirements related to billing and transportation operations.
- Maintain detailed and organised records to support audit requirements and internal controls.
- Continuously improve billing procedures by identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhancements.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes affecting billing and transportation services to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to effectively address billing concerns.
