Please ensure your daily tasks align with the following key responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee logistics operations and customer service initiatives within the Contract Logistics division.
- Utilise retail platforms such as Walmart Retail Link, Amazon Vendor Central, and others for effective data management and logistical monitoring.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments including sales, transport, and warehousing to ensure seamless communication and fulfilment of service expectations.
- Track delivery schedules, manage changes and negotiate as necessary to meet project delivery timelines, ensuring all details are meticulously documented.
- Utilise advanced Excel skills, leveraging pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and macros for data analysis and reporting.
- Maintain awareness of logistical processes and ensure compliance with all operational standards to enhance service efficiency.
- Gather feedback and maintain communication with retail buyers, transporters, and CEDIS personnel to foster strong professional relationships.
- Resolve operational challenges swiftly and effectively, implementing strategic solutions to unforeseen issues as they arise.
- Knowledge of Retail Platforms: Proficiency in operating portals such as Walmart Retail Link and Amazon Vendor Central.
- Logistical Portal Management: Validate delivery dates, manage appointment confirmations, and oversee loading documentation.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel: Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis.
- ERP/TMS Experience: Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other internal scheduling tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and follow-up skills to manage delayed shipments and reschedule as needed.
- Proficiency in customer service principles, ensuring internal and external clients receive the utmost support.
- Effective appointment management and prioritization based on urgency and delivery windows.
- Documentation control and validation of critical logistics documents.
- Forecasting demand and ensuring timely calendar management.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Working independently and as part of a cohesive team will be essential in adapting to the dynamic nature of logistics operations.Benefits:
