
SENIOR HARDWARE ENGINEER – BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

- Define and develop hardware architecture for energy management systems, ensuring scalability and compliance with automotive standards.
- Design electronic concepts supported by Worst Case Analysis, DFMEA, and electronic/thermal simulations.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Designers and PCB Layout Engineers to define and optimize PCB concepts.
- Lead hardware development activities throughout the automotive project lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and EMC requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure documentation meets internal and customer standards.
- Interface with cross-functional teams and customers to align technical requirements and resolve issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the hardware team.
- Support supplier selection and technical evaluation of components.
- Drive continuous improvement in hardware development processes and tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware development, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven experience in at least two full-cycle automotive hardware development projects.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, battery management systems, and automotive-grade components.
- Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, and AEC-Q100/Q200.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, PSpice) and PCB design tools (e.g., Cadence).
- Understanding of EMC design principles and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (Advanced level required).
