- Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, and help them navigate complex legal issues and disputes.
- Conduct thorough and accurate legal research, using various sources and databases, to support your legal arguments and strategies.
- Draft, review, and edit various legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, briefs, and affidavits.
- Represent clients in civil and criminal court proceedings, as well as in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Establish and maintain strong and trusting relationships with your clients, and keep them informed of the progress and outcome of their cases.
- Collect and analyze information and evidence from clients and other parties, and determine the best course of action for each case.
- Collaborate with other lawyers and legal professionals, both within and outside our organization, to ensure the quality and efficiency of our legal services.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing and submitting reports, invoices, and correspondence, and maintaining accurate and organized records of your cases.
- A Law degree from an accredited Law School in your country
- A valid license to practice law
- At least 2 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably in a remote setting.
- Proficient in using online platforms and tools, such as video conferencing, cloud storage, and document management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by the cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule
- Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps
