- Proactively generate new group business opportunities within key markets (LATAM) through direct sales efforts, sales trips, trade shows, and client engagement strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with incentive houses, corporate planners, DMCs, and meeting planners.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to drive repeat business and maintain brand loyalty.
- Respond to group RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and prepare competitive proposals in coordination with revenue and operations teams.
- Participate in the creation of strategic sales plans and targeted action plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Host site inspections, familiarization trips (FAMs), and client entertainment as necessary to convert leads and build long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and resort departments to ensure event and group needs are accurately communicated and executed.
- Provide exceptional service throughout the sales process, maintaining high satisfaction levels, and positive post-event feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and account interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Delphi, Opera, Salesforce).
- Collaborate with revenue management and operations teams to ensure optimal group rates, availability, and event execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities or challenges.
- Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, sales missions, and client events.
- Assist in the development and distribution of promotional materials and marketing content specific to the group & incentive segment.
- This position is based in Mexico City (satellite home office).
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in group or incentive sales within a luxury resort or hotel setting, preferably in Mexico or Latin America.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and event management tools.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to close high-value group business.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results oriented.
- Strong cultural awareness and understanding of international clientele.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
