Materials Requirement Stock Management
Monitor the coverage of on hand and planned delivery quantities on a regular basis with respect to revised production plan and/or rejected quantities and take the necessary actions to avoid out of stock and over stock situations. Assess and measure potential risks exposures.
Analyze MRP activities, monitor the status of orders and perform follow up with the suppliers to meet the required time and quantity, organize delivery schedules according to the standard transportation method.
Perform sanity check to have right materials with right quantity on right place in line with the production requirements while taking stock strategy into account.
NPI Support: support feasibility checks for the first production of new projects in full alignment with Supply Planning & PPMD. Ensure materials availability for first production date for new projects.
Be part of continuous improvement and lean process implementation, take an active role in cross-regional synergies, optimization programs and projects to streamline and standardize processes.Skills and competences:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering is an asset
Fluent in written & spoken English
APICS Certification is a plusProcesses:
Demonstrated proficiency in MRP. Additional understanding on process drumbeats of Supply Planning, Site integrated planning and Capacity planning would be a plus.
Systems:
Good knowledge of SAP and/or other relevant MRP solutions.Work Experience:2+ year of experience in MRP, supply /capacity / production planning, inventory management, or supply chain management; demand planning is a plus.
Good understanding of fundamentals of MRP, production planning & scheduling. Good understanding & experience in managing the material planning master data, system and process inputs and outputs.
Background of Manufacturing would be an asset.Other Skills or function specific:Ability to turn MRP results into a business discussion highlighting priorities and opportunities to stakeholders with understanding of operational implications.
Comfortable with systems and data, ability to see how changes in various inputs and parameters will impact final output.
Inventory & LOGD Management - Understanding of the inventory management process and the drivers that lead to LOGD. Can define & execute actions required for inventory management and LOGD minimization.
NPI Stage Gate Process - Understanding of the end-to-end process and the gates related to new product initiatives and the roles of the involved departments.
Tolling Knowledge - Understanding of Tolling structure and the requirements for tolling compliance. Can have premilinary assessment on organization and process re-design from the Tolling Model perspective
Supply Chain modeling skills: interest in 'self-driving' tools and automation of processes
Skilled in Supply Analytics and can actively lead and maintain replenishment using systems, reporting tools and metrics.
