- Monitoring shipments of raw materials from suppliers.
- Printing a list of critical and expediting with suppliers to ensure availability of material in the plant.
- Analysis of excess inventory to detect supplier over shipments and negotiate returns or stop future shipments.
- Monitoring inventory value and actions to adhere to forecast.
- Monitoring inventory discrepancies.
- Analyzes and follows up on the Excess and Obsolete report.
- Tracks the purchasing process for new part numbers.
- Participates in the coordination of Engineering changes through APQP meetings.
- Monitor premium freight and generate action plans to reduce it.
- Actively participates in semiannual physical inventories, achieving a variation of less than 2% in the reconciliation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree on industrial Engineering or any related field.
- 3 Years on similar positions within the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of shipping, knowledge of M5 reporting, APQP, MASSS, MS-OFFICE.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- English Advanced Level.
