- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Buying/Procurement/Sourcing or Supplier Management experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Understanding of AIAG Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Understanding of Non-Conforming Material Reporting (NCMR)
- Basic understanding of project management tools and disciplines including Critical Path Methodology
- Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while having a high degree of attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, coach, and drive accountability.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite / Oracle.
- Issue requests for quotation (RFQ), review and analyze quotations
- Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and PO follow-up.
- Manage relationships with suppliers including continuous engagement to monitor On Time Delivery and drive improvement actions with Suppliers to improve their Material Availability.
- Update and execute MRP signals such as pull ins / push outs / cancellations to drive accuracy on the signals sent to vendors and prevent excess on order.
- Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive material availability and other key business metrics.
- Participate and/ or lead project activities as assigned by the team NPI Fulfillment Leader.
- Manage NCMR process from first notification by Supplier Quality to delivery of replacement goods and/ or cost recovery
- Work together with cross functional teams including Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
- Responsible for meeting all KPIs related to Fulfillment function.
- Develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge.
- Process material deviation (Supplier Deviation Report - SDR) and PPAPs according to Process and Sourcing initiatives
- Contribute to projects as a team member or lead special projects within the NPI Fulfillment organization.
- Share knowledge and help to mentor other team members.
- Actively participate and lead discussion related to material crisis and shortages.
- Ensuring that accurate responses are received from the suppliers in the correct form at the correct time.
- Ascertaining supplier-related material delays and establishing back-charging process for any delays due to deliveries.
- Manage part hand off to responsible Fulfillment Team(s)
- Responsible for getting Supplier paid on time. Resolve Supplier payment issues.
