- Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger reconciliations and audit related reviews.
- Record journal entries associated with accounts payable, tax, payroll, etc
- Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, forecast reports, and external reporting.
- Elaborate accountant bank reconciliations
- Fixed assets control, this includes reviewing requests for asset departure 10% for repair and disposal for sale or scrap, as well as identifying new assets and their location.
- Monthly review with the projects team to determine the capitalization of CAAPS in a timely manner. Control in SAP of the additions, disposals and capitalization of fixed assets.
- Total and selective fixed asset inventory
- Responsible to preparer the Leasy Query report, Reserve discounts and returns, Impairment annual report.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
- English professional (Mandatory)
- 2 years experience in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred with knowledge of Fixed Assets, General Ledger Accounting, Cost Accounting and taxes
- Ability to synthesize financial information and present logical recommendations
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels of management
- Solid proficiency of MS Excel, Power Point & Word and skilled in math applications and accounting formulations
- Involved in small projects and supports finance initiatives with the business functions
- Understanding of finance & accounting from a financial perspective
- Understanding of A/R &A/P process helpful.
