As a Global Demand Planning Lead, you will be responsible for managing all forecasting activities associated with customers and products, and directing the demand planning team to create and maintains forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from multiple sources.Develop the SKU-level demand plan for their region, customers, and products. This plan becomes the key input into the Global S&OP process that is then rolled up against the global supply plan. They will also be the conduit back to sales on supply/delivery constraints.What You Will Do
  • Implement and support the demand planning strategy.
  • Design and implement tools and processes that enhance the demand planning function.
  • Review sales plans, Customer and data, Finance Budget Updates
  • Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing, and finance personnel.
  • Work with global S&OP and Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) teams in weekly Sales Operations Execution (SOE) to adjust and prioritize Sales Orders.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to Business Unit and Supply Chain organizations, and drive continuous improvement.
What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
  • 5 years minimum experience using PC-based applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
  • 5 years working in a team-based environment.
  • 5 years working in a cross-functional collaborative environment.
What is Nice to Have
  • Experience using business intelligence suites.
  • Experience using SAP ERP
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
  • Experience in finance, sales, marketing, product management, and R&D functions
  • Proficiency in mathematics/statistics
