We are currently seeking a Operations and Warranty Manager, reporting directly to Commissioning Manager to join our team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.Manage execution of the scope of work in respect of Project HSSE rules. Responsible for all Post - RFSU activities on the Project, to bring the Project Facilities from RFSU condition to fully commissioned/ tested - Performance test Completed and ready for Client Acceptance & Handover”. Manage all activities from RFSU, End of Commissioning and Operation and maintenance( when applicable). Organize preparation and execution of the scope of work in respect of Project HSSE rules. Ensure respect of operability and safety at all time. Intervene in respect of protecting people and asset at all time. Know the risk associated with the scope and anticipate, mitigate them. Establish and maintain effective communication between the site start up group and office support groups. Ensure regular communication with Operating center process team for plant parameters and adjustment. Coordination and administration of warranty programs. Daily coordination with operation and maintenance team to identify issues. By application of the agreed procedure, ensure that vendor call out is organize and vendor warranty are followed. Ensure that all preparatory work, dry run and pre-test are performed. Ensuring that all process and methods plan to be used are fit for the work and in the interest of the project. Ensure good cohesion within all the personal. Performed weekly meeting. Ensure good communication between all parties, including client, vendor and subcontractor. Ensure work is executed with respect of project schedule, Budget and contract. Assist and support, CSU manager. Manage all support function (PCM, schedule, IT, Vendor rep, logistics, catering, supply chain, materials, warehouse). Coordinate meeting with union and local or personal representative when required. Manage all reporting to support office and project directors (Contractor and Client).Main Accountabilities:Operations
  • Provide technical and administrative guidance to the onshore team to ensure aims and objectives are effectively achieved
  • Administer Project programmed to ensure implementation is in accordance with plans, designs and specifications;
  • Reports daily on the activities (POB, HSE, Qc, Progress etc.…).
  • Organize preparation and execution of the scope of work (Home office and site) in respect of Project HSSE rules
  • Ensure respect of operability and safety at all time. Intervene in respect of protecting people and asset at all time.

  • Build the manning and organization require to execute the scope of work site.
  • Build the team: Identify and mobilize the team.
  • Reviews work schedules and looks ahead, incorporates additional works performed.
  • Anticipates and organizes for additional works. Provides records of related activities.
  • Coordinates with the project team onshore (mobilization, procurement, logistics, etc.…).
  • Ensures adequate resources, equipment's, materials and consumables are in line with the work programs and the look ahead schedules.
  • Execute and co-ordinate all phases of hook-up in accordance with the relevant plans and procedures.
  • Report progress, ensure deliverables, equipment, facilities and services meet specified requirements;
  • Advocate the use of safe work practices and procedures to mitigate the risks to personnel and equipment;
  • Responsible for technical co-ordination with COMPANY, including attendance at interface meetings.
  • Ensure direct communication with COMPANY representatives;
  • Organizes the record of Man-hours and other resources against Job Cards.
  • Reviews and signs off the timesheets of the Subcontractors.
  • Reviews and signs off the reports of the Subcontractors.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly progress reports of activities
  • Provide inputs to the close out report.
  • Regular feedback during site execution to project and Paris structure
Warranty
  • Preparation or review of all warranty specifications for the equipment.
  • Gathering, compilation, and organization of all support data and technical information required to properly substantiate, submit, and recover warranty claims.
  • Interface with contractors for gathering acceptable computerized or manual data.
  • Interface with maintenance system administrators to develop data entry programs for capturing warranty data from Maintenance Divisions.
  • Closely interface with Maintenance Managers to ensure failed parts are returned with proper information to the warranty parts holding area for disposition.
  • Verification that all new equipment information is entered into computer system for warranty tracking.
  • Interface with managers, engineers, quality control inspectors, training instructors, and outside contractors to gather information and organize the vendor specialists to restore the components and material of defective equipment.
  • Organize root cause analyzes upon equipment failure and identify the rectification party.
  • Follow-up action plan up to repair or replacement of eh defective parts.
