We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications, and cable companies over a fiber optic network that spans over 13,000 miles between both countries.
We have an immediate need for a** Change Management Specialist**.
This position can be based in Ciudad Juarez or Mexico City, Mexico.
The Role:
The Responsibilities:
- Work with the Engineering, Service Delivery and NOC teams to ensure coordination and communication to customers about changes.
- Keep track and update all changes, and maintain all teams involved in the process informed.
- Assess urgent changes or deciding on the approval, delay or rejection of changes.
- Chair the Change Advisory Board meetings (CAB), which reviews and approves changes.
- Ensure Change Management integration with other internal operational processes.
- Analyze change records to determine any trends or problems that occur, create reports and ensure KPIs are met.
- Maintains and improve the change management process effectively, efficiently, timely and securely.
- Initiates follow-up actions to correct any problems or inefficiencies arising during the execution of a change, and provides improvement ideas.
- Understand and balance business needs with risk management and compliance.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- +4 years of experience in telecommunications, engineering, or similar.
- Previous change management experience.
- Must be able to understand & interpret networking and architectural diagrams including the roles and responsibilities of routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, etc.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Good documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible schedule, available nights and weekends.
- Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
