Your technical expertise, and ability to adapt to new technologies will be key to your success in this position.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lean Manufacturing Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of Lean & 5S principles to streamline operations, improve safety, minimize waste, and optimize efficiency across manufacturing processes.
  • New Technology Implementation and production equipment assessment: Identify and evaluate opportunities to introduce new technologies and methodologies in our operations to enhance process efficiency and product quality. Work with operations teams to develop Scope of Work (SOW), capital investment plan, and Return on Investment (value) justification for projects.
  • Vendor Interactions: Collaborate with external suppliers to source capital equipment, develop acceptance criteria, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Project Management: Lead and implement simultaneous projects related to manufacturing process improvements, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • New Product Introductions: Collaborate with NPD teams to ensure new products enforce to design for manufacturing standard processes.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field such as industrial technology. Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of significant experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on NPI, equipment development, new technology, and product line transfers.
  • Strong analytical abilities to collect, analyze, and interpret data for informed decision-making and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and solving problems.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Must be willing and able to travel as needed up to 25%; a valid passport is required.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication on both, English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Competence with technology, including PLC programming and integration of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Understanding of systems integration languages like SQL to establish communication between Oracle and automated equipment.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience with new product development teams for ensuring successful product launch by coordinating production readiness and establishing robust sustainment plans.
  • Ability to apply statistical analysis tools such as Excel and Minitab for distribution interpretation, control chart generation, Cpk calculation, etc.
  • Experience implementing automated assembly process utilizing, position sensors, actuators, material feeders, conveyers, barcoding, digital work instructions, & vision systems in a high mix & low volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience implementing SCADA systems to analyze and process industrial data.
  • Experience with various test techniques to measure leak rate, flow rate, hypot, and response time using Labview and/or PLC.
  • Assembly automation experience, fixing design and installation experience
