- Develop and follow through with the local business plan, being aware of Brazilian market requirements as well as international business expectations.
- Assess sales probability and forecast revenue expectations.
- Observe and participate in sales calls with all team members for sales development and coaching present
- Implements established corporate policies, procedures, and strategies and manages sales budget.
- Manage dealer and direct distribution channel conflict.
- Serves as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality matters.
- Completing sales activity, pending business and 30-60-90 Day forecast reports and general customer service as well as maintaining customer contact database.
- Strong understanding of all Humanscale’s products, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work tools.
- Effectively work with other Humanscale personnel, such as A&D, Monitor Arm Representatives.
- Responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed revenue, profitability, and product mix sales goals for our ergonomic workplace solutions.
- Assist in advancing the sales process for individual sales opportunities within your team.
- Conduct a minimum number of interviews to maintain bench strength for your sales team.
- Assess sales representative skill sets, create and maintain individual development plans.
- Self-motivated.
- Prioritizes setting specifications with end users rather than merely supporting dealers.
- Sets the market pace, encouraging dealers to follow Humanscale.
- Assembly program:
- Maintains a record of the current stock of assembled units and forecasts future needs.
- Follows up with dealers to ensure timely reorders of containers.
- Identifies innovative opportunities in other markets (IT, wellness, etc.) instead of focusing solely on Commercial.
- Focuses efforts as follows:
- Contract / Commercial vertical market
- IT vertical market
- The candidate will have 7-10+ years of business sales experience
- The candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of management or leadership responsibility
- Bachelor's degree, business, marketing, or communications major preferred
- Successful track record of managing a remote sales team
- Successful track record of planning and execution
- Working knowledge of MS OFFICE and associated applications is required
- Ability for overnight travel regionally 50%
- Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry, a plus
- Excellent written and verbal
- Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities
- Aggressive follow-up and closing skills
