  • In conjunction with Transcon Manager, create quotes for Export operations.
  • Meet deadlines set by customers and sales/retention on responding to pricing requests.
  • Review feedback from sales/retention, network and customers on rate competitiveness.
  • Track and report the results of quotes by maintaining and updating the Quoting in the Database (Quoting Power BI or another system)
Procurement & Service providers.
  • Review and analyze carrier rates.
  • In conjunction with Transcon Manager, work with carriers to keep rates fresh and competitive.
  • Transition & Implementation with carriers.
  • To confirm or negotiate capacity for new business.
  • Market update.
  • Develop new carriers.
  • In conjunction with Transcon Manager, perform the carrier evaluations each Quarter.
Rate & Surcharge Maintenance
  • Maintain rate databases updated.
  • Maintain and distribute information about increases and changes on the market.
  • Follow up and revise the expiring rate agreements and contracts.
General Support
  • Provide general support for sales/retention on Transcon pricing.
  • Provide other general pricing support as specified by the network.
  • Provide support to operational team on approval of quotes from customers.
  • Provide support to operational team on the registration of rates on ATS and with the carrier.
  • Provide support to operational team on the compliance of Expeditors policies.
RequisitosKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:Knowledge:
  • A good understanding of Expeditors’ Products and Services.
  • Understanding freight forwarder industry in special Transcon Product.
  • Hazardous Materials certification (optional).
Skills:
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
  • Very detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
  • Capability to negotiate with suppliers.
  • Analysis of data.
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Fluent in English.

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:Training Requirements:
  • Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training.
Education and Experience:
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
