WTS Energy is recruiting Floorhands on behalf of our international client for an offshore drillship operation. This position is a key member of the drilling crew, working on the rig floor to support drilling operations.Purpose of the Position:
To support the smooth and safe operation of drilling activities by handling drill pipe, equipment, and assisting the drill crew on the rig floor.Main Responsibilities:
- Handle and move drill pipe, casing, and other drilling tools on the rig floor.
- Assist in making up and breaking out connections of drill pipe and bottom hole assemblies.
- Clean, grease, and perform basic maintenance on rig floor equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on the rig floor.
- Assist the Derrickhand and other senior drilling personnel as directed.
- Participate actively in all safety meetings and emergency drills.
- Perform other tasks as required to support the drilling process.
- Previous experience as a Floorhand or Roughneck on a Drillship, Semisubmersible, or Jack-up rig.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform strenuous work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work a rotational schedule.
