- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the region, aligning to global priorities while tailoring to local market dynamics and regulatory environments.
- Drive business growth across both agent and digital channels, ensuring full P&L ownership across the sub-region.
- Lead distribution and go-to-market strategies to strengthen agent network, expand digital capabilities, and enhance customer experience.
- Leverage deep understanding of regional trends and competitor activity to develop differentiated market strategies and product positioning.
- Partner with marketing, product, compliance, operations, and digital teams to build integrated campaigns and initiatives that meet revenue targets and optimize customer outcomes.
- Oversee KPI tracking and performance metrics for the regional sales team, using insights to inform tactical decisions and continuous improvement.
- Act as the executive point of contact for key stakeholders including regulators, banking partners, agents, and government entities.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing regional team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
- Serve as a hands-on leader in the field with sales teams, regularly conducting market visits and customer/agent engagements.
- 15+ years of experience in financial services, remittances, banking, fintech, or related sectors, with deep understanding of money movement products and digital transformation.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership capacity, with demonstrated success in leading regional strategy and P&L ownership.
- Extensive knowledge of the competitive, regulatory, and cultural landscape in Mexico and Central America.
- Proven ability to work across complex, matrixed environments and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen with deep skills in pricing, channel strategy, data analytics, and customer insights.
- Excellent communicator and relationship-builder, fluent in Spanish and English, with experience interacting with C-suite and external regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- Bi-cultural or multi-country leadership experience in Latin America strongly preferred.
