Please visit our website:Job DescriptionThe Business Process Management role will provide global managed services to support the Project Controls Group, to find efficiencies on specific processes for an international data center developer. The responsibilities include defining, reviewing, and improving business processes, developing requirements documents & more. They will also support the data team to provide User Acceptance Testing, provide training for process adoption, define and implement KPIs, manage stakeholder communications, support project financial closeout, & update / maintain process manuals for cataloging business processes across organizations.In this role the candidate will be required to identify process Impediments, and provide solution development services. This deliverable focuses on defining business processes, capturing requirements, reviewing and improving existing processes, and establishing process standards and governance. This deliverable will include:
- Lead discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to define business processes and concurrent business requirements.
- Providing stakeholders with a high-level scope assessment outlining estimated complexity and effort for business requirements documents development.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to establish a mutually agreed-upon timeframe for business requirements documents' completion.
- Create visual representations of the discovered business processes - including process flows, workflows, and supporting documentation.
- Create comprehensive business requirements documents.
- Articulate business needs, process flows, and requirements clearly and completely, including detailed use cases and acceptance criteria.
- Secure formal acceptance from engineers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with existing systems and architecture.
- Proactive process review and gap analysis: conduct proactive reviews of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Creating an inventory of existing business processes and prioritizing them for review based on factors such as impact on core services, frequency of execution, risk, and alignment with Project Controls Groups' objectives.
- Documenting the current state of prioritized processes -including process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation, and analyzing the processes to identify areas of opportunity.
- Conducting a thorough gap analysis to compare the current state process with the desired future state or industry best practices, identifying process gaps, performance gaps, and technology gaps.
- Actively engaging with process stakeholders, including process owners, users, and impacted teams, to gather feedback on process challenges and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze collected data to identify trends, patterns, insights and ensuring timely follow-up on action items with relevant stakeholders.
- Generate and distribute monthly reports outlining projects that require financial closure.
- Support the closure of projects within the Project Financial Closeout workflow, including proactively collaborating with partner teams to accomplish pending actions and resolving any roadblocks to project closure.
- Fluent written and spoken English & Spanish is mandatory. All deliverables will require advanced level of written & spoken English
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related.
- 8 years of experience within the construction industry.
- Proven track record as a Lead Project Manager, a specialist in performance measurement and analysis and delivering successful solutions for clients.
- PMI certification is a plus.
- Commercial project experience, ideally with Data Centers, warehouse building, retail store, shopping center.
- Consultant experience preferred.
- Proactive problem solving; identify and address potential issues or risks related to contract management.
- Accuracy and attention to detail: all contract-related documents and communications must be accurate, complete, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Communication: The Candidate must maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with the Client's stakeholders. Communication should be clear, concise, and effective.
