- Lead, develop, and mentor a geographically distributed cybersecurity team responsible for detection, response, IAM, engineering, data protection and vulnerability management
- Execute NOV's information security strategy and roadmap across IT, OT, and cloud environments
- Apply an automation-first and AI-aware approach to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and accelerate threat response
- Serve as a communication bridge between remote teams and corporate leadership-ensuring alignment, accountability, and shared visibility
- Drive adoption of best practices aligned with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
- Collaborate with IT, cloud, HR, and infrastructure teams to embed secure practices into new projects, identity systems, and operations
- Stay current with evolving security tools, tactics, and emerging threats-including GenAI/LLM-related risks and defenses
- Track metrics, support compliance reporting, and provide executive-level visibility into risk posture and control effectiveness
- Participate in talent development, performance reviews, and team-building initiatives to create a high-performing security culture
- Oversee and participate in incident management, investigations, and root cause remediation
- Other duties as assigned by organization leadership

- Experience in cybersecurity and in a leadership or management capacity
- Experience leading teams in remote or globally distributed environments
- Familiarity with identity and endpoint platforms like Okta, SentinelOne, Zscaler, AWS, Azure, etc.
- Solid understanding of scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Python) and their role in scaling security operations
- Clear communicator, capable of interfacing with executives, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Benchmarks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC GSLC, or relevant leadership-focused credentials
- Experience managing security environments
- Familiarity with modern security architecture principles (e.g., Zero Trust)
- Experience with risk management, vendor security reviews, or security budgeting
- Lead a global security team protecting critical infrastructure in a dynamic and evolving threat landscape
- Protect systems, data, and IP critical to the world's industrial supply chain
- Influence the security direction of IT, OT, cloud, and digital business systems
- Collaborate with senior leaders and technical peers to drive meaningful risk reduction
