- Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products using mechanical and electronic tools.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results according to internal procedures and customer requirements.
- Interpret and inspect to engineering drawings, purchase orders, and industry standards
- Record inspection results using digital tools and quality management systems.
- Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and support internal/external audits.
- Use magnification tools and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area following 5S principles.
- Technical school diploma or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with IPC-A-610 standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with First Articles Inspection, GD&T, and inspection documentation.
- Skilled in using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, multimeters, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Oracle, SAP or Materials transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Operates in a production and warehouse environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.
- May require pushing carts with circuit boards and using magnification tools for extended periods.
