Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).
Advanced English - TOEFL min. Score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent).

Technical Prerequisites

Automotive knowledge background
Knowledge of mechanical integration
Applicable engineering & physics knowledge
2D&3D CAD software knowledge (CREO Parametric preferred)
Background in:

- FMEA
- Drafting standard
- GD&T application
- Stackup calculation * Knowledge of the Product Development Process

Responsibilities

Customer Collaboration and Design Understanding

The individual is responsible for liaising with customers to understand the specific functionalities, specifications, and design requirements for a project * Solution Design and DiscussionThe role involves designing alternative solutions using 3D solid modeling. These options are then discussed with the Project Manager or clients to determine the most suitable approach. * Specification and Feature DefinitionA key task is to design engineering specifications for a variety of physical objects, including mechanical mechanisms. The person also defines key features to ensure they meet the required functional specifications * 3D Design Process OversightThe role includes monitoring and conducting the 3D design process, particularly for complex or sophisticated cases. This ensures the design aligns with the defined specifications. * Prototype Production and Quality ControlThe individual must cooperate in and monitor the production of prototypes. They are also responsible for checking the specifications and functionalities of these prototypes to ensure they meet the agreed-upon standards. * Perform engineering calculations to ensure or improve product function (Including tolerances and interfaces analysis)
