- Determine and maintain process specifications for all manufacturing processes in the facility, inside a metal-mechanic environment.
- Develop, evaluate and implement new manufacturing process.
- Elaborate plans to improve efficiency and coordinate with quality to decrease defects.
- Document the proper methods for operating machinery and processes according to standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost and develop plans to implement it.
- Provide response for quality and manufacturing issues that requires engineering expertise.
- Design of tooling and fixtures to increase efficiency.
- Reports to Manufacturing Engineering Manager II
- Interacts with Operations, Engineering, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, RBS and other functional teams on a variety of process issues.
- Can interact as needed with Thomson and application engineering, quality and other Regal Rexnord professionals to share best practices and collaborate on various initiatives.
- Interacts with suppliers as needed.

- Engineer degree with minimum 3 years of experience
- High sense of urgency and be a self-starter, highly driven and solving problem
- Good communications skills, proactive and good team player
- Highly Organize
- Able to handle multiple projects
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of ERP Software (like Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.)
- Process implementation, cells layout and controls
- Lean manufacturing tools knowledge, as an example VSM, PQPR, 5S’s, STD Work
- Experience working with electronic assemblies preferred; working in the Aerospace industry / AS9100 is preferred.
- Strong Data analysis, statistical problem solving tools. 6 sigma project experience will be prefer
- MS Excel medium or advance level
- Understanding in machining process (CNC process strong preferred).
- Proficiency in blue prints reading and geometric & tolerances (GD&T).
- Computer Skills and proficiency in CAD software
- Knowledge, use and applications of measurement equipment.
- Use and application of manufacturing standards norms (ISO, ASTM).
- Skills in data analysis, statistical & solving problems tools skills. (MSA, Capability)
- Implementation of lean manufacturing tools, (desirable).
- Knowledge in manufacturing costing process, (desirable)
