- Review plans and other technical documents.
- Prepare Exhibits, list of drawings and specifications for contract document.
- Manage RFI and Submittal processes, including updates of logs daily.
- Create and manage drawings log.
- Manage all tests and inspections reports.
- Offer technical information to the project team to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including permit applications.
- Manage project punch list.
- Manage closeout documentation for the project (Certificates, Warranties, O&M Manuals, Spare parts, training…).
- Understand appropriate building codes / regulations.
- Document weekly project owner's meetings/decisions.
- Assist project managers with assigned tasks.
- Assist the site team during on-site meetings and visits.
- Maintain and regularly produce reports utilizing a combination of Project Management Software and Microsoft Office programs.
- Provides support in contracts, subcontracts, changing orders, and purchase orders negotiations.
- Attend and document scheduled weekly progress meetings and other internal project/program meetings.
- Lead change management processes by updating logs.

- 3-5 years of experience in construction projects as a Project Engineer
- Experience with commercial projects (retail, restaurant, hospitality).
- Demonstrate a high standard of persona, accountability and integrity.
- Bachelor's degree required; construction management, engineering, architecture or similar (preferred)
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques, building systems selection, related engineering principles, sustainability strategies and building codes.
- Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Able to analyze structural, architectural, MEP and civil drawings.
- Able to analyze project specifications.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail and highly organized.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of the construction industry.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and ability to self-direct.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Primavera P6, MS Project, Autodesk or similar project management software.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.
- The ability to effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
