And so much more.Come break through with us.Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.Role PurposeTo improve and sustain maintenance reliability and low maintenance costs.Key Responsibilities
- Root Cause and Reliability Analysis and taking ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation, and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause analysis projects are documented
- Analyzing equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques
- Developing implementation plans and schedules to apply predictive maintenance techniques at our processes
- Evaluating effectiveness of predictive maintenance procedures and adjusting as necessary to increase the value of our offerings.
- Improving health and safety policies and procedures
- Innovate maintenance
- Technical degree in Engineering
- 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance area
- Experience handling Computerizing Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Understanding and experience of Lean Manufacturing
- Spare parts and tooling management
- Root cause analysis experience
- Understanding of TPM methodology (preferred)
