- THE ROLE:
Support the CAE Structural team, knowing the requirements for each program and collecting the evidence needed for each program.
Perform basic Structural analysis for Body Exterior.
- YOUR IMPACT:
- Leads the evidence of System Design Specification analysis.
- Document the collected reports for current and future programs
- Coordination with other areas such as: Design and Release Engineers, CAE teams, Digital Innovation.
- Ability to create and modify finite element models that predicts vehicle structure performance by following the corporate requirements and procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Currently studying the last year-Bachelor ´s degree of Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Science Materials are desirable) or related disciplines with coursework in Finite Element Methods.
- Good understanding of materials properties.
- Experience with CAE software such as Hyperworks, Ansa, and/or other commercially available FEA program is desirable.
- Experience with Abaqus, NCODE, Nastran and/or other commercially available FEA program for structural and fatigue analyses are desirable.
- Familiarity with Team Center and Catia.
- Independent, self-motivated, goal oriented, highly organized and persistent.
- Able to work both independently and effectively with others.
- Ability to summarize and present technical work to cross-functional teams.
- Excellent self-learning skills.
- Able to work remotely and in a global environment.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
