You'll have the unique opportunity to dive into and affect various digital experiences, helping to make each more engaging and intuitive, while also serving as a mentor to junior staff members.
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding design explorations, generating comps, interactive simulations, and product specifications based on end-users' behaviors, needs and use-cases.
You will also collaborate alongside other Experience Design colleagues and US Foods partners to establish engaging and usable digital experiences, as well as being an integral member in establishing our digital guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in lnformation Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
4 to 6 YoE in Design (UX Design preferably, Industrial Design, Visual/Graphic Design or similar related Design), with experience in generation of User Experience explorations of various fidelity levels (sketches to high-res) to semi-interactive simulations (Figma, Sketch or similar).
Design portfolio required.
Demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
Recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
Communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
English Level: Upper Intermediate.

Create and conduct formal presentations.
Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
Collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others
Quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee 3+ design projects independently at different stages of delivery, while also collaboratively working with direct team peers across other projects, without sacrificing quality.
Leverage and collaborate in the evolution of digital system standards that drive cohesive experiences across digital portfolio.
Organize and facilitate design-thinking workshops that establish end-user empathy through understanding of their needs, opportunities and behaviors, as well as inform business requirements and prioritizations.
Maintains high standards of accountability in owning responsibility around design direction, timelines, and quality of user experiences
Define research opportunities that drive end-user advocacy
Communicate, Collaborate and negotiate with partners and stakeholder while being an ambassador for the end-user.
Able to articulate and communicate UX related items with peers and first level managers
Willing to openly receive and incorporate critique from peers and stakeholders as well as provide meaningful feedback.
Be seen as a mentor for junior designer.
