Make your move, Join us !Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic Buyer with experience in sheet metal and detailed parts procurement to support a 12-month aerospace project. The ideal candidate will lead supplier localization efforts, manage inventory reduction initiatives, and coordinate supplier transitions while ensuring alignment with aerospace quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end procurement process for sheet metal and detailed machined parts according to program and technical requirements.
Identify, assess, and localize qualified suppliers in Mexico to meet cost, lead time, and compliance objectives.
Negotiate supplier agreements and coordinate supplier transition processes, minimizing supply chain risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, logistics) to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing performance of suppliers.
Implement inventory reduction strategies to improve working capital and optimize lead times.
Ensure full compliance with applicable aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100) and customer-specific requirements.

QualificationsRequired Profile:

Proven experience in procurement of sheet metal components and detailed parts, ideally within the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry.
Strong background in supplier localization, negotiation, and inventory optimization.
Experience managing supplier transitions while ensuring uninterrupted production.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel occasionally to Jacareí, Brazil.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Preferred: Additional training or certification in strategic sourcing, aerospace procurement, or supply chain management.
