The SMT Machine Programmer is responsible for developing and maintaining program control for Panasonic and Yamaha Pick & Place equipment, DEK Screen Printers, Koh Young and Omron SPI and AOI equipment, and Vitronics Oven reflow profiles. This position supports the operation and maintenance of SMT equipment. This position will provide guidance and support to SMT Operators and Technicians. 1 Development of programs for paste printing machines, SPI, Pick and Place, reflow ovens, AOI, etc. 2 Controls the revision of machine programs, making adjustments based on improvements or engineering changes. 3 Prepares and maintains load sheets for Pick and Place machines. 4 Programs the process window for temperature profiles in reflow ovens. 5 Develops and maintains SMT processes, monitoring equipment lines to ensure process efficiency and quality. 6 Generates changes to machine programs based on engineering change validations, deviations, and new projects. 7 Adjusts programs during the process to ensure quality and efficiency. 8 Performs line capacity analyses and keeps them updated. 9 Trains, develops, and supports SMT technicians and operators in the use of line equipment. 10 Troubles process/equipment issues and corrects faults in collaboration with SMT technicians. 11 Produces operating instructions, visual aids, and standard operating sheets for SMT machines. 12 Participates in safety initiatives, such as lockout/tagout, 5S, and more. Education: Engineering/ Technician (Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, Industrial) Tehnical degree +3 years of experience in a similar SMT Position Experience with Pick & Place Panasonic, Yamaha, AOI and SPI Koh Young, Omron, DEK printers Effective communication, teamwork, proactive, initiative, work under pressure.
