- Act as the central developer and primary person responsible for implementing business requirements in the Oracle Transport Management (OTM) system.
- Advise and support specialist departments during the rollout of the OTM solution across various regions.
- Consult on application processes related to freight invoicing within transport management.
- Provide application consulting for the transport management system using OTM.
- Configure OTM settings and preferences (Oracle configuration).
- Possess experience in OTM reporting and SQL.
- Advise the business on integrating the OTM system solution into the Schaeffler system landscape.
- Support integration topics, including coordination with logistics service providers (LSPs), Itrack, suppliers, and warehouse management systems (WM-Systems).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with OTM (implementation or support)
- Must have both technical and functional expertise with OTM, including Oracle PL/SQL
- IT background is desirable
- Experience with SAP systems (SAP R/3), especially helpful if familiar with modules such as SAP MM, FI, LE, and SD
- In-depth understanding of OTM usage
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation processes, including LSP shipment and transport management (handling orders in OTM)
- Familiarity with OTM itinerary logic and understanding of its dependencies on transport scheduling in sales processes
- Experience with LSP purchase tendering concepts, including rate calculation, distance rates, and LSP loading plans
- Hands-on experience with OTM web applications (for LSPs, suppliers, and internal users like Schaeffler)
- Knowledge of the Match & Pay process, including OCR scan functionality
- Expertise in order management processes (managing orders in OTM)
- Experience in shipment planning and execution within OTM
