This team is responsible for building and maintaining scalable services that manage consumer data across Levi's digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a skilled engineer with experience in building cloud-native services and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the retail domain.This position is available to candidates located in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia.   • Design, develop, and maintain microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Spring Boot and Java.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver scalable and secure consumer data services.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production systems.
  • Contribute to the team's technical roadmap and architectural decisions.
  • Continuously learn and improve engineering practices and technical skills.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, data modeling, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skill.
