As sustainability is the guiding principle of the Mercedes-Benz strategy and for the company itself, this means creating lasting value for all stakeholders: for customers, employees, investors, business partners and society as a whole.Objective:Control and steer key financial indicators for the Vans division, including Revenue, Net Revenue, Discounts, G&A, Marketing, Group and Sales Contribution, and EBIT.
Provide financial insights and analytics to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with annual performance targets.
Supervise planning process covering unit configuration, variable costs, and other financial key figures.
Drive pricing proposals and support the financial aspects of new product launches.
Act as a key member of the Van Board and in the Residual Value Committee.Day to day (main tasks):Financial Key Figures Results:Control and ensure accurate planning for Van division.
(Unit configuration, discounts per type class, variables cost. Ebit and others financial key figures)Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial analysis for top management, highlighting deviations and profitability ensuring proper steering of financial KPIs.Business Partner:Collaborate with HQ and local product management to define pricing proposals of Vans units.
Analyze and make decisions on business cases in order to improve and sustain market contribution.In partnership with Vans Management, design and implement pricing and discount strategies aimed at maximizing contribution margin and market share growth.Incentive Control: Oversee and manage all incentive programs for the Vans business.Control and monitor specific incentives such as Sales Discounts (SD), subsidies, floor plan support, cash bonuses, and performance-based discounts to ensure effectiveness and compliance.Financial Reporting:Ensure accurate financial reporting for the Vans Business Units (actuals and forecasts) in the corresponding systems and tools.Provide clear explanations for variations against forecasts in the consolidated financial statements to relevant stakeholders.Preparation and deliver consolidated financial data for HQ, Vans stakeholders and Consolidation Controller.ICS (Internal Control System) controlling:Supervise the execution and documentation of ICS (Internal Control System) controls related to Vans controlling topics, including sales discounts, incentives, pricing, etc.Oversee Residual Value (RV) control processes, including validation and maintenance of RV data in IBIS.Act as a member of the Residual Value Committee and regularly brief the Head of Controlling on RV developments and their financial impact.Profile:Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or Economics.Previous experience:a.
At least 5 Years of experience on Controlling functions.b.
At least 2 years of experience with Consolidated Financial Statements.c.
At least 2 years of experience within the Passenger Cars and/or Comercial Vehicles businesses.Languages: Advanced English.Additional Qualifications:a.
