In your new role you will:Responsible for product and process line quality performance, handling of non-conformance and drive for improvement activities to meet qualitytargetThe Quality Engineer must:
- Be responsible of the PCP of the area in charge
- Monitor in a daily basis the process controls established in our Control plans and as well the documentation and records according withISO9000/IATF16949 standards
- Manage the Quality KPI's by Module assigned analysing trends and Pareto of main contributors in order to develop action plans with thehelp of the core team; drives improvements towards the 0 defect policy(LRR, Hold Lots (DDM/CAMSTAR), MRB, ZcL)
- Evaluate the defects and be part of the risk assessment to providethe proper disposition to all Non-conformance material and participateactively in MRB
- Assure that all the products of his area of responsibility meet thecustomer requirements
- Be the SME on quality criteria
- Support and present Customer information
- Support and coordinate the activities to perform the quality checkswithin the process (Meet, PCP, Product Specifications, SPC, etc.)
- Train other engineers/technician/QA in specific processes and in theculture of 0 defects
- Coordinate, design and implement new quality systems of continuousimprovement
- Generate EC's, TECN's, PCP's, Specs, Etc.
- Improve and develop new processes and tools. (fixtures)
- Review and recommend new material/equipment/test to improve defectdetection
- Establish process specifications that guarantee quality in theproduct
- Demonstrate leadership with core teams to improve quality performance
- Answer and complete 8D response without supervision
- Administrate the area of responsibility based the customerrequirements (QMR, Hold Lots)
- Evaluate the performance of his/her personnel
- Have active participation in the risk assessment of the material
- Assure and achieve with the targets of EH&S as the responsibilitiesdescribed in OP-0248 attach no. 3 with regards to all employees(general) related
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or similar
- English 90%
- Extent of technical knowledge in own area: PCP, Quality Stand AS9100, IATF16949, PDCA's, APQP (Control Plan, FlowChart & PFMEA), 8D's, SPC, Six Sigma Yellow Belt (desired), SAP,Electrical Test knowledge
