- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions and processes to ensure timely and accurate data exchange between trading partners, especially with focus on customer transactions like orders, order confirmation, invoices, advance shipping notification.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement and maintain EDI standards and protocols, helping the EDI Manager in his activities
- System Troubleshooting:
- Analyze and resolve issues related to order to cash processes, customer service systems, and product supply operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify system errors and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems by performing regular audits and validations of Order to Cash transactions and related data flows.
- Work with data management teams to establish data governance and best practices for Order to cash related data, like customer master, trading partners liked with EDI messages or customer related parameters (prices, terms, conditions).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with IT, finance, sales, and supply chain teams to identify system requirements and enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Order to cash processes and systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of EDI processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track EDI performance metrics and system issues.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on EDI and order to cash processes.
- Familiarity with EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) and EDI mapping tools.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and customer service platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation techniques is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of business processes related to order management, customer service, and product supply.
