- Ensure import, export, and transportation times meet established targets.
- Build, monitor, and deliver the annual expense and cost budget associated with operations.
- Ensure operations are executed in full compliance with applicable regulations in each country where we operate directly and provide timely documentation to our customers to execute their customs and logistics processes according to legislation.
- Provide quality information to the P&S organization regarding operational status, process improvement opportunities, and new operational models or schemes to achieve significant positive impacts.
- Handle customer complaints and identified non-conformities according to defined policies and procedures.
- Manage the performance of all required operational providers through relevant KPIs that must meet SMART goals. Ensure providers invoice their services in a timely manner.
- Maintain an IRA (Inventory Record Accuracy) above 99% in each storage site under their scope and responsibility.
- Comply with all company policies, codes of practice, procedures, protocols, and other defined standards in each operational process.
- Maintain fluid communication channels with Customs Authorities and Ministries of Agriculture in countries within scope to ensure compliance with international regulations, including meetings and visits. Properly address any audits or requirements that authorities may request from the company regarding foreign trade operations under leadership.
- Optimize, digitize, and improve processes from operational, financial, HSE, Quality, Security, and Sustainability perspectives.
- Align, contribute, and work as a team with other processes within and outside P&S, ensuring optimal supply chain flow.
- Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Project and change management skills and experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in foreign trade and international logistics
- Experience using SAP for transactions related to purchasing, billing, inventory, and transportation.
- Experience implementing and/or operating special customs schemes (IMMEX, AEO, Free Trade Zones, among others).
- Experience managing or leading customs and/or logistics providers
- Understanding of customs agency operations and logistics operators
- Knowledge of customs regulations and related requirements.
