- Monitor that the area is in optimal conditions in terms of personnel, tools and equipment.
- Check that supervision has the material, human, equipment, etc. resources for the successful start of the different work shifts.
- Inform supervision of the results of the area indicators in order to plan improvement, corrective and/or containment actions.
- Ensure that the rejected and non-compliant product is identified in addition to informing the departments involved
- Analyze the causes of raw and first-fire waste, as well as propose corrective actions that help reduce it.
- Analyze the process information in conjunction with Process Engineering, and identify the behavior of the process using statistical tools in addition to coordinating the supervision of the corrective and/or preventive actions that are taken for its execution and thus comply with the conformity of the product.
- Control the daily waste reports of the assigned department.
- Direct supervisors so that the control plan, procedures and work instructions are carried out in the area under their responsibility, in addition to communicating to the production supervisor if these have undergone changes and validating whether they are available.
- Ensure that the work methods in the operation are carried out in order to maintain stability in the operations.
- Direct the actions to be carried out to implement the Engineering changes as well as inform supervision of the changes and actions to follow.
- Propose improvement plans that help make the process efficient and improve the plant's performance indicators. (Using Lean tools, Six sigma, etc.)
- Check that the CTQ's (Critical To Quality) of the product are within the specifications.
- Monitor compliance with the guidelines established by the quality management system, as well as report any deviation in the process and/or Product to the Quality area.
- Direct SMART TEAMS to comply with their improvement projects.
- Develop the personnel under your charge so that they have the skills required for their position.
- Manage incidents and overtime of the Supervisors in charge and deliver them to HR
