  • Manage CQI and GIMS cross functional task force teams, create priorities, action plans and track progress, align and update initiatives list.
  • First responder to Component Quality Analysis Team New Emerging Issue alerts.
  • Interacting with DSE, MFG and DRE to develop the next steps plan, document the plan to the team.
  • Coordinate any next steps and track progress working side by side with DSE/DRE setting up plans or tests needed.
  • Updating status and results into GIMS, our Quality Initiatives documents and QEC teardown results database.
  • Manage prototype hardware procurements and ED&D requirements.
  • Manage BRT (Build Readiness Team) for prototype orders.
  • Lead for shipping & receiving parts/transmissions for builds to/from suppliers Drive designers & DREs on moving the changes through the system to meet the implementation timing milestones and participate in design reviews with the COES (weekly meetings).
  • Ownership of mass/cost optimization (GCO/TCR).
  • Schedule & attend "Design reviews" ahead of ordering proto parts.
  • Author minutes with action items/ follow up for each design review Follow up on action item closure.
YOUR PROFILE
  • 4 years of experience automotive engineering, particularly in transmissions and mechanical components.
  • Ability to coordinate testing, design reviews, and analysis of emerging issues.
  • Knowledge of mass and cost optimization strategies (GCO/TCR).
  • Strong organizational skills for leading design review meetings (COES).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting plans, meeting minutes, and reports.
  • Skilled in presenting updates and results in technical meetings.
  • Proficiency in platforms such as GIMS, CQI, QEC, and other quality management systems.
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of CAD/CAE tools (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficient in English.
