Sensata Technologies Mexico is looking for a Mechanical Technician who will be responsible for the assembly and troubleshooting of equipment and tooling requested to mechanization and used in the production lines.The manufacturing equipment and tooling we build is for the assembly, calibration and test of sensors and overload protection devices. Our products are used in the automotive and appliance industries in applications such as pressure, force, temperature, speed, position, and overload protection.This role requires occasional travel to our global manufacturing sites and business centers.Primary responsibilities include:

Install custom and off the shelf hardware components and pneumatical circuits/systems using manufacturer's and or existing internal documentation
Build, assemble, and tooling of the machine.
Troubleshoot and debug mechanical systems and components.
Identify overlooked or excluded design elements of mechanical systems and then formulate and suggest solutions to designers and responsible engineers
Maintain a clean work environment
Manage and maintain a tool inventory necessary for executing daily tasks
Manage and maintain a consumables inventory necessary for executing daily tasks

Requirements:

3+ Year technical degree in Mechanical or Mecatronic.
3 Years of experience working in manufacturing, mechanized process, welding process, measurement instruments environment.
Experience with building or maintaining manufacturing equipment
Proficient with mechanical drawings, assembles and symbols.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
Familiar with Processes like welding, tooling shop, milling, grinding, Tig welding, Microwire welding, electrical welding, grinding, conventional machines, hand tools, electrical hand tools, cutting tools, standard and metrical system knowledge, fasteners knowledge or familiar.
