Start your future with BorgWarner now!Job purposeBorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a ‘dynamic and results oriented’ person to join as a Industrial Engineer / Lean Manufacturing, in activities such as ensure the execution of activities aimed at the continuous improvement of all company processes, through the application of BorgWarner's best practices, tools and technologies and/or those required by customers, using lean manufacturing techniques and the PDS Way as a basis.Key responsibilities

Follow-up of strategies to implement Lean Manufacturing philosophy in SLP.
Training the required personnel in Lean Manufacturing tools.
Support in the implementation of material flow improvement projects.
Coordinate company improvement projects (kaizen) and disseminate their results.
Updating of base information of the OEE system.
Balancing of current processes and for new requirements and/or products.
Development, maintenance and optimisation of company lay-out.
Coordinate movements and relocation of company lay-outs.
Support with activities aimed at increasing the efficiency of production lines.
Support in the information of operational times in SAP.
Capacity database maintenance.
Follow-up and maintenance of the Improvement Ideas System.

What we’re looking for

Grade: Industrial Engineer or related degree.
Time of experience in similar position: 5 years or more in similar position.
Technical knowledge required: Manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing tools, Line balancing, time and motion study, Kanban, kaizen, Plant layout lay -outs, Autocad, Simulation package, Statistical methods, Project management, Improvement systems, Quality and environmental system.
Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP, AutoCAD, Flexim, SolidWorks.
Availability to travel: Yes Frequency: Semi-Annual
English Required: Conversational / Business
