**FIRMWARE ENGINEER**
Strong technical engineer who will be involved in the development of Bluetooth, USB, and other wireless headsets and amplifiers for the US and World markets with a focus on firmware design and implementation for testability.
He or she will also be involved in completing ongoing projects developed worldwide and providing some sustaining effort on existing products.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Development of firmware for new product or FW platform features and to enable engineering, software quality assurance, and manufacturing test capabilities.
- Development of test scripts and firmware code to support automated testing in order to improve firmware development efficiency and deliver great products to the market faster.
- Working closely with firmware engineers and global cross functional project team members to deliver firmware features to schedule.
**Desired experience**:
- 3+ years of experience in embedded C or C++ development.
- 3+ years of experience in RTOS environments
- 1+ year of experience in a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.).
- Familiarity with the latest software development best practices (unit test frameworks, etc.).
- Experience with communication buses (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, etc.).
- Experience in developing firmware for ARM based processors
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, Perforce, etc.)
- Experience understanding electrical schematics and digital circuitry.
- Current US work visa.
Willing to travel
**REQUIREMENTS**
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience in embedded firmware development or testing.
- Strong knowledge in C or C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of object oriented and modular programming.
- Fluency in English.
