Job Description:OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Key Account Executive & Segment Leader in our Garmin Mexico location. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing new dealers and sales of Garmin’s products as a highly motivated professional who is highly involved in product management & product development for Garmin’s products sold in Mexico.Essential Functions
  • Develop and manage long term strategic relationships with key account (consumer product sales channels)
  • Establish and execute sales plans, sales promotions and customer support to increase market share and profits
  • Analyze sales metrics and data to prepare and present business reviews on account performance and state of health of the accounts under your supervision
  • Prepare sales forecasts and work side by side with Garmin demand planner to ensure adequate/efficient on hand inventory levels.
  • Research and develop new segments in Mexico (auto, offroad, motorcycle, etc.)
  • Partner/communicate regularly with Regional Sales Managers, Marketing Managers and Inside Sales to ensure appropriate merchandising, and presentation of Garmin products
  • Monitor market for need to modify strategies required to meet sales objectives and profit goals
  • Visit Garmin dealer network and retail stores to provide feedback and assistance at the point of sales.
  • Strong knowledge or all Garmin products and segments in to order to guide and train dealers on the ideal product line up in each account, as well as the proper communication and merchandising of said products.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or Marketing AND a minimum of 3 years experience in business to business sales and markering (selling direct to large retailers and/or equivalent) sector OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Met and/or exceeded past sales goals
  • Proven track record of sales successes
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, and excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional communication oral/written and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to present to large groups
Desired Qualifications
  • Must possess demonstrated English skills (able to establish a conversation, read and write)
  • Profiecient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Experience in using consumer electronics, fitness or recreational products
  • Personal experience in fishing, boating and/or outdoor recreation activities
  • Excellent product knowledge of communication and navigation systems
