Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: R&D Department Lead MéxicoYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to create products, systems, services, or technologies for ABB’s business units. Each day, you will facilitate the end-to-end execution of one or more Research and Development projects. You will also showcase your expertise by achieving associated milestones, targets, and desired outcomes.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the R&D area in the Electrical Distribution Systems division in San Luis Potosi.You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Leads and supports local and cross-functional project teams in projects with limited complexity and / or sub-projects of a complex project.
  • Motivates and monitors internal and/or external resources (budget/headcount) to accomplish all committed targets.
  • Fosters a positive team environment, technical excellence, and continuous attention to quality and built-in quality practices.
  • Ensure objectives, priorities, key decisions, and status are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Leads Dayly/Monthly projects advance communication meetings, manages Minute of Meetings and follow to agreed actions..
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • 7+ Years Experience in electrical industry with at least 4 years managing projects
  • Financial concepts understanding.(forescast & budget)
  • MS Project (or similar PM software), Excel and ERP (SAP, others) experience
  • Advaced English and Ability to travel 30% national and international (USA VISA desirable)
  • PMI/PMBOK knowledge and experience, PMP certification (desirable).
  • Strong electrical and electronic knowledge, and understanding of UL, ANSI, and IEEE standards (preferred)
