Please visit our website:Job DescriptionThis application refers to a Health & Safety Talent Pool from which we will be redirecting candidates in to Assistant, Professional and Senior Professional opened roles within our company and within Mexico region.Providing authoritative guidance to project and construction´s team, becoming part of it, especially on legal compliance topics, such as: risk assessments, legal audit & claims from local authorities regarding site safety labor inspections, safety committees work streams, "contingencies determination" and work job position adaptations, incident investigations.
- Plan and develop strategic work systems around HS&E guidelines, e.g.: recommending suitable processes aligned with client's and regulatory standards.
- Support existing site safety team for keeping reporting regimes are in place for Health and Safety statistics.
- Support business change, via effective change management processes in a fast-paced environment, when required.
- Implement and review the Company's global safety policies, ensuring that local legislative requirements are also met.
- Maintaining and developing personal competence to meet the demands of both the business and Clients.
- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Architectural or related to HS&E
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience
- Qualified Health and Safety Professional holding specialized courses in occupational health and safety, according to Mexican regulations.
- A flexible individual who can understand the issues presented and adapt general methods and processes to meet the Client's / business needs, with previous experience in construction or projects with stringent HS&E measures.
- Significant Health and Safety experience, ideally gained in an industrial and/or construction environment.
- Flexible approach to work, while always managing your own priorities and workload
- Able to effectively lead and manage a HS&E team.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills: you're also results-oriented and tenacious.
- Comfortable communicating at all levels of seniority within a large organization.
- Possess an in-depth understanding Mexico Health and Safety legislation.
- Quickly build credibility, using your influencing skills and strategies to build buy-in for change.
- Fluent in Spanish and with good communication skills in English (preferable).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Essential.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize own workload to meet deadlines - Essential.
- Good IT skills to generate reports and documents.
