You will gain valuable experience in solving problems and working with suppliers and internal stakeholders around the world.Key Responsabilities:
  • Payment problems resolution (investigation and improvement) - Webcycles
  • Oversee periodic pricing updates provided by suppliers for entry to ERP system Internal stakeholder management and Collaboration with Global Procurement Operations Center (GPOC)
  • Create and maintain purchasing documents in Axalta’s systems
  • Vendor Master management: create, maintain and approve suppliers in Axalta’s systems
  • Cost savings & DPO (payment terms) opportunity assessment
  • Select Supplier through RFP & Evaluation Process
  • Negotiate with suppliers on price, terms & conditions, MOQ, lead-times and service levels
  • e-Sourcing and catalog management
  • Sourcing and category management for tail spend subcategories
  • Work closely with leadership to data mine, develop and implement sourcing strategies
  • Provide analysis & strategy for competitive procurement, research, sourcing, risk mitigation, and contract management
Requirements:
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of tactical and analytical support experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations or comparable discipline.
  • Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English
  • Experience in the chemical industry a benefit but not required
  • Strong systems skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning System such as SAP R3/S4 is a must
  • Teamwork and Collaboration skills and self-starter
  • Capability to analyse, develop & transfer internal demands into beneficial contract solutions
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Superior communication skills
  • Good commercial negotiator
  • Service-oriented mindset, with a desire to ensure timely responses to clients’needs
