Objective
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the production area to ensure compliance with production, quality, time, and cost plans, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Main ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
Ensure compliance with daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Guarantee product quality in accordance with established standards.
Monitor and optimize the use of resources materials, machinery, personnel.
Implement and follow up on safety and hygiene regulations on the shop floor.
Report progress, deviations, and issues to Management or the Planning department.
Train and motivate personnel under their responsibility.
Collaborate on continuous improvement of production processes.
Resolve conflicts and operational problems during the shift.
Track key performance indicators KPIs related to production, quality, and timing.
Specific Functions
Assign tasks and shifts to staff.
Review and validate production reports.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery.
Manage the materials required for production.
Oversee the implementation of 5S programs and Lean methodologies.
Participate in followup meetings with other departments quality, maintenance, logistics.
Enforce and promote industrial safety policies.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of production processes in the specific industry.
Proficiency in ERP systems or production control software.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Quality control and ISO standards knowledge if applicable.
Knowledge of industrial safety and hygiene regulations.
Data analysis and KPI management skills.

Education and Experience
Minimum education Technical degree or Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum experience 5 years in production supervision within a similar industry.
Desirable Courses or certifications in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Industrial Safety.
Working Conditions
Schedule Rotating shifts.
Location San José Iturbide, Guanajuato.
Salary 43,000 to 50,000 MXN gross monthly.
