Job DescriptionIf you are looking to get a great internship experienceThis is the opportunity to do so by joining the General Ledger (GL) department in the Business Service Operations (BSO) department at The LEGO Group!Play your part in our team success!The General Ledger (GL) department interacts with great parts of The LEGO Group and therefore holds an important role within the Business Service Operations (BSO) supporting the Americas region.The team is responsible for compliant handling of the general ledger and all engagements related hereto, which involves natural interaction with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.The departmental focus is to:

Make sure we live our partner promise by ensuring high quality, stewardship and full compliance with the LEGO Groups current Accounting Policy and global processes

Ensure timely, accurate and reliable transactional data recorded in general ledger and timely reconciliation of all accounts

Support internal and external stakeholders with insightful and value-adding financial analyses, recurring statements and reporting bringing value to the overall business

The GL department supports The LEGO Group with consistent, high quality and customer-oriented execution of GL processes and stakeholder management, and thereby enables the BSO to succeed in delivering great value the organization.Core ResponsabilitiesControl/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank, and payroll accounts etc.)Support internal and external audits providing information i.e. reports, invoices, general ledger journal entries, etc.Support fixed assets process for instance physical inventory to identify asset’s locations.Do you have what it takes?Education: from 8th semester and above preferably, accounting, finance, business administration or similarAnalytical, detail - and high-quality orientedKnowledge of Office tools specially Excel and a plus if any Microsoft Power Platform (like Power BI, Power app, Power automate, etc.)SAP knowledge and/or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Able to work independently but also energized/thrives in a team environment.Analytic, good at verbal and written communication both in Spanish and EnglishJoin the global LEGO® teamWe strive to create a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture of play at the LEGO Group, where everyone feels safe, valued and they belong.The LEGO Group is proud to be an equal opportunity and an affirmative action employer.
