Our team is committed to innovation and collaboration, providing a dynamic environment where you can make a difference.About the role.Ensure the clarity, coherence, standardization and veracity of Fitch's publications, that texts are well written, revising their grammar, spelling and syntax, and that they are comprehensible for readers.We´ll count on you to:

Proofread grammar, spelling and syntax to correct mistakes
Standardize publications and apply Fitch's Style
Revise consistency in data and ensure it is correct
Correct graphs and tables accordingly to Fitch's global standards
Check that graphs and tables are correctly referenced through the text
Verify that the publications comply with the local regulators' requirements
Modify paragraphs to achieve a clearer message for the reader
Publish external research (including issuer reports, special sector reports, presentations).
Assist in external outreach or take responsibility where required
Financial data entry and maintain up-to-date databases/systems

You May be a Good Fit if:

Preferably, Bachelor in Spanish Language or Bachelor in Hispanic Language. Optionally, bachelor's in international relations, Bachelor in Social Studies, Bachelor in Journalism, or Bachelor in Communications.
Excellent writing and spelling
Specific knowledge of the grammar rules set by “Real Academia de la Lengua Española”
Interest and understanding of finance and economics
Ability to make deep revisions, capability to focus, and detail orientation
Capability to ensure high-quality in revisions, even in short deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
Languages: Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Inquisitiveness and skills to inquire and resolve doubts
Judgement to apply Fitch's Style
Interpersonal skills to correctly approach authors
Capability to respect the authors' ideas and writing styles during the editing process
Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel

If you have at least 1 year of experience as a proofreader in a daily media or recent graduate with interest in proofreading
