Job Description:Responsible for Managing the Mexico Global Business Services Team. Team is responsible for processing indirect accounts payable for all Mexico Plants and Costa Rica, processing travel and expense reports, executing payments, billing and collections, CFDI and customer portal access management. Perform bank reconciliations and other GL account reconciliations, prepare journal entries and complete all daily and month-end activities as required. Collaborate with plant controllers and other functional areas as needed to ensure all duties are completed as required and per company policy and SOX requirements. Responsible for all reporting, budget and forecasting. Managing internal, external and governmental audits within GBS MX.Responsibilities:
  • Manage a staff of seven team members. Evaluating and reviewing the team and a team members performance.
  • Ensure the Team performs and completes all daily and month-end tasks as required and according to Company Policy.
  • Follow, develop and establish KPI’s and performance metrics for the team and team members to ensure optimum performance.
  • Manage daily activities and the month-end close process as required and per policy.
  • Ensure all invoices are processed by the team timely and accurately.
  • All payments are processed and approved per company policy and SOX requirements.
  • Journal entries are prepared, approved and posted timely and according to policy.
  • Bank reconciliations and other reconciliations are completed timely and per policy.
  • Department budgeting and forecasting for department expenses and payments.
  • Ensure all travel and expense reports are processed timely and according to company policy.
  • Company travel cards are monitored and maintained according to company policy.
  • Tickets for Concur and other internal inquiries are processed by the Team timely.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure Company travel card applications are processed timely.
  • Work closely with Treasury to ensure bank funding, account balances, forecasting and account maintenance.
  • Work with internal and external and governmental auditors as required and manage the audit process within GBS MX.
  • Reporting of monthly team performance and KPI results.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting and tax requirements and internal controls (SOX).
  • Collaborate with Plant Controllers and other necessary functional areas to ensure GBS MX is providing a high level of service and accomplishing all tasks as required and address any gaps.
  • Ensure the Team responds to external and internal customer inquiries on a timely basis to ensure productive customer relationships.
  • Actively manage and participate in monthly Team Meetings to facilitate communication, teamwork and discuss relevant issues.
  • Collaborate with GBS Poland on relevant issues.to ensure standardization of processes where possible and other support as needed.
  • Manage all process within GBS MX and evaluate for efficiency and effectiveness. Creative in solutions.
  • Collaborate and establish working relationships with our Banking Representatives.
  • Manage Banking platforms and accesses per company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.
