Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, cost optimization, and supplier reliability, contributing to Carrier’s global success.Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Manager, Commodity Management & Sourcing, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight for assigned commodities to maximize business value
  • Conducting operational and spend analysis, developing and executing annual sourcing strategies
  • Leading supplier negotiations, performance management, and operational support
  • Awarding contracts within spending limits and identifying new qualified sources of supply
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve strategies
  • Analyzing supplier operations to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance
  • Developing strategic plans for commodities or key suppliers
  • Managing relationships with one or more strategic accounts within assigned commodities
  • Leading the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
  • Ensuring supplier performance meets delivery, quality, and cost expectations
RequirementsWe are looking for people who are strategic, analytical, and collaborative. If this is you, get in touch.As a minimum you must have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in global commodity management or business
  • Experience in Professional Services categories (HR, EHS, Engineering, Legal services Marketing,)
  • Strong communication skills and business acumen
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
  • Proven ability to work independently and influence globally
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • 7+ years of experience in global supply chain or business
  • Consultancy and services procurement experience
  • Experience resolving complex problems with both tangible and intangible variables
