We’ll give you a comprehensive course in all things travel and prepare you with everything you need to be successful as a full-time Associate Travel Counselor assisting our client through phone.What We’re Looking ForExperience in customer service, sales, call centers, or hospitality (3+ years) with extensive customer interaction.Highly proficient in computer skills including basic trouble shooting and confident in navigating new software platforms.Understanding of math applications, including percentages and taxes.Resolving customer issues quickly and raising concerns when needed.Strong interpersonal communication, full proficiency in English language with exceptional listening, speaking, reading and writing.Problem-solving skills.Passionate about world-class customer service (empathetic, calm, and courteous).Must have a quiet, secure home office space, free from noise and interruption.Must have reliable high speed internet service at your address.What You’ll DoParticipate in our Travel Academy (training) newly designed travel curriculum, where you’ll learn everything you need to know about corporate travel and our industryLearn about our products and services GBT provides, including our end-to-end booking processExperience our hands-on practice environmentAdvise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirementsUse positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requestsCollaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levelsAt the end of the paid training program, we’ll help you transition to your full-time role as an Associate Travel CounselorOur Traveler Care unit is a 24/7 operation, so we’re looking for people who are excited about working some non-traditional hours.
